Privately owned and operated by the Summer family. Located in a residential area, the Residence is set on 5.66 acres of land close to picturesque Glen Williams. Enjoy the raised gardens for easy gardening, outside walkways, gazebos, water features, flower gardens and a wooded area. The Residence building is for mobile seniors able to walk independently or with the use of cane or walker. Residents’ cognition levels range from being completely intact to early stages of dementia.

Shepherd Village is Toronto’s largest not-for-profit seniors’ community and has been dedicated to the well-being of seniors since 1961. The Terrace at Shepherd Village is a licensed retirement residence that offers two accommodation choices: retirement living and assisted living. Woodhall Park Retirement Village opened in 1988 in Brampton and keeping with the heritage of the area, we named our building after the Woodhall family who once farmed this very same property.

This completely independent living building is for social and active seniors with no cognitive, mobility or visual impediments & consists of 60 private apartment-style suites. Situated on 5.6 scenic acres and located in picturesque Glen Williams. Residents continue to enjoy their independence whether participating in community activities or planned on-site activities. Outside amenities include walkways, gazebos, water features, flower gardens, roof-top patio and a wooded area. Indoor amenities include in-room internet access and wi-fi, computer lounge and library lounge.

Amica Unionville offers a premium senior living experience situated in the historic community of Markham. This retirement residence seamlessly merges the charm of heritage buildings and picturesque riverside trails with the conveniences of a bustling Greater Toronto Area city. Available 24/7, Amica Unionville's dedicated nursing and wellness team provides a broad spectrum of care services ranging from independent living to specialized dementia care.
