Chateau Glengarry has been a vibrant retirement home in the picturesque town of Alexandria, Ontario, since 1985. We are a delightful community where people find friends who are close in age and share similar interests and passions. Our loving staff offers bilingual services to independent residents as well as those who need assisted living or are at the onset of memory care in a comfortable, friendly and secured environment.

We have 60 rooms with a total capacity of 90, offering short and long-term stays as well as respite and crisis placement. Activities, housekeeping and laundry service are well scheduled. Access to a house of worship is very close by. All areas are wheelchair accessible. Doctor and nursing care are available. There is a registered nurse, and a physician makes regular house visits. In addition, the home is just a few minutes drive to the local hospital if specialized medical care is necessary.

The health of our residents, staff and community continues to be a top priority as we work together to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic. To help reduce the spread of COVID-19, Chateau Glengarry has been working closely with various government agencies, residents & their families, staff and vendors, preparing, updating and implementing a comprehensive COVID-19 Preparedness Plan since March 2020.
